This digitally mastered CD was originally
released on vinyl in 1971 and virtually kick-started the Hawaiian revival.
It's been out of print for 23 years - now it's back (and better than ever)

"The dreamy music on this album makes me feel like I'm
driving along the road to Hana once again. This is definitely not a
cheesy compilation of Island wannabe music. Rather it is a collection

E
O Mai
- ... this is terrific music, at once traditional in form
and musicality, and progressive in content and admixture. The renaissance

- VERY POWERFUL. Hits you

I haven't heard this one yet, but it's getting
great reviews. Has a "countryish" sound to most
of the tracks, I think.
Legends
Of Ukulele
- Haven't heard this one, but it looks like a
good introduction to Hawiian Ukulele music. If you are already
a little familiar with Hawaiian Ukelele, then keep on going down the
list and check out some of the "Dancing Cat" series of recordings.
